Wir,
eine Gruppe von ehemaligen Leistungssportlern sind auf Grund des sehr traurigen, unvorstellbaren Anlasses, des Todes von Arne, nach über dreißig Jahen am 12.Juni in Berlin zusammengekommen, um uns zu erinnern und Abschied zu nehmen.
Unsere gemeinsame Zeit mit Arne in der DDR, die Jahre um den Mauerfall in Berlin war so überaus wichtig für uns, wir waren jung und hatten eine nie in Frage gestellte, selbstverständliche Nähe zueinander. Wir feierten, diskutierten, tranken literweise schwarzen Tee (russischen) und Wein, diskutierten wieder, surften, segelten, liebten und lachten.
Und diese Nähe hat sich nie aufgelöst und wir tragen sie in unseren Herzen, und doch, trotz dieser Nähe, gab es für jeden von uns den eigenen persönlichen Aufbruch in eine neue Zeit , viele neue Möglichkeiten und es zerstreute uns alle in ganz unterschiedliche Richtungen.
